In the spirit of your post, I received your insights with much joy. For among its many blessings, the gentle nudge toward mindfulness in writing suggested that precision guides us ultimately toward a generous communicative nature. And you underscored the value of candor which is sorely lacking these days although false intimacy abounds. Be well, my friend. And by that I mean, Rock on.

Dear Russell,

I write to you in the spirit of appreciation after reading your thoughtful piece. Fortunately the weather outside is frightfully frigid so reading your letter has been a wonderful excuse to dawdle in the warmth of my room. I especially enjoyed your employment of the word 'precision'. It can be used in so many contexts: how the vegetables will be chopped for tonight's dinner, how the tense of a verb can change everything, how a well aimed glare can throw proper shade on the intended victim. Today, I will dedicate myself to the concept of precision and see where that leads.

Your friend,

Jude
