Interesting theme and connection here! I have always cottoned more toward outsiders in any crowd, and def have felt like an outsider myself pretty much all my life, even when I was part of inner circles. Does seem that a layer of detachment is necessary to see a thing more clearly.
Agreed, Sara. Hard for total insiders to stay objective. Sometimes outsiders go too much whole-hog into their new environment. But my money is on outsiders to retain a more detached appraisal of a situation.
