Holy Hills Hermitage has become one of my favorite places on earth. I treasure every hour I spend there. Over the past few years, I have rested, reflected and recharged there.
Early this year, I joined its Board and felt proud and honored to do so. I believe Holy Hills Hermitage, by offering “individual spiritual retreat opportunities for adults to immerse themselves in the reflective silence and solitude of a natural sanctuary,” provides a beautiful and needed service in a modern world dominated by noise and busyness.
It is a very small retreat center, now celebrating its 5th anniversary. But 10 acres of land and several buildings take significant resources to maintain in good repair. Our annual online auction – our key fundraiser – is now live and runs until Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 8:00pm EST. I’d hugely appreciate it if you’d take a look at the wonderful items we have for bid. If one or two (or ten!) call out to you, please bid.
Here is my longer appreciation of the Hermitage from January:
Thank you for checking out our auction. If you would like more information about the Hermitage, you can read it here. And if you’d like to arrange a visit, please reach out to the Hermitage Manager here.
