My A1C spiked during the pandemic for much of the same reasons. It took 3 rounds of blood work in 3 month chunks to get it all the way back down. You won’t see a change in 14 days. You have got this!!!

My advice is up your protein and water intake! My husband has been pre diabetic for 5 years and it hasn’t developed. Good luck! Pulling for you.

I had to recently make an overhaul of my diet and nutrition also….my best advice is to just take it one day at a time. Don’t focus on eliminating favorite things “forever”… but in a shorter block of time like “one month”. Then after that month is over you can reevaluate. That shift in mindset made all the difference for me! Good luck:)
